Prehistoric Picture Project making ancient rock-art visible
Frederick Baker is a visiting fellow at Cambridge University and the Co-Director of the Cambridge University Prehistoric Picture Project, which he initiated with Dr Christopher Chippindale at the University Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology in September 2009.
This research project in collaboration with the Fritz Lang Insitute (St Pölten) and the Bauhaus University (Weimar) uses the latest film and graphic techniques to investigate and increase the visibility of Europe's largest collection of prehistoric rock art, which is to be found in the Val Carmonica, Lombardy, Northern Italy.
